Feb. 26 - Haley Stops in Minnesota
Presidential candidate Nikki Haley gives the thumbs up to a supporter encouraging her to stay in the race for the Republican Party nomination.
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley rallied a packed room of supporters at a hotel in Bloomington and is the first 2024 presidential candidate of either party to come to Minnesota. Long lines of supporters waited to fill the room where Haley would speak while the media set up for the rally. Once in the room people sat and waited, bought merch, milled around taking selfies and tried to grab one of the t-shirts being tossed to the crowd. Former U.S. Sen. Rudy Boschwitz and his wife, Ellen, introduced Haley as she made her way to the stage waving to supporters. Haley told the crowd they need to decide if their going to head in a new direction or go with the same pair in a rematch of 2020. After Haley’s regular made campaign remarks about President Biden and her Republican opponent former President Trump she greeted her enthusiastic supporters in the room.
