Jan. 22 - March For Life - 50th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Decision

Thousands gathered in front of the Capitol to mark the 50th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that guaranteed abortion right under the U.S. Constitution. This right was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court last summer in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision. Minnesota Citizens Concern For Life, the sponsor of the March For Life, is now attempting to stop the legislature from codifying abortion protection into Minnesota law. The House has passed the Protect Reproductive Options (PRO Act) bill last week and the Senate is set to debate PRO Act this week.
